St. Rose Academy

Architecture

This 60,000 SF private Catholic school on Birmingham’s southside is well regarded and has served a diverse clientele for nearly one hundred years. HKW was commissioned to develop a 10-year master plan for growth and architecture design for the school. Plans call for a new classroom building, performing arts center, chapel and a campus green. The Master Plan includes a new 25,000 SF school building and chapel, a new 10,000 SF Fine Arts Center; renovation of the Mackin House, the existing 7,700 SF school building for administration; and campus renovation to meet ADA requirements.
