Client: Sloss Furnace

Construction Cost: $5.5 million

Gaston Engineering designed all paving, drainage and utilities for the construction of the Sloss Furnace Visitor’s Center. Gaston Engineering’s scope also included extensive coordination with local utility companies, the City of Birmingham and the Alabama Department of Transportation to obtain a partial street vacation as well as two separate sanitary sewer easements required for the project.
