Gaston Construction provided program management services for this six-year, multi-phase project, which included extensive residential and commercial property acquisition and demolition, relocation of both a cemetery and a major roadway, extensive storm water drainage improvements, and a major runway/taxiway extension. This milestone project fulfilled the airport’s goal to allow landings and departures by all but the largest current passenger airplanes. Gaston’s services were vital in completing this project on time and within budget, all while maintaining positive relations with the local community.
