Gaston Construction provided construction management services for a seven-level addition to the airport’s existing parking deck. The new deck provides parking space for over 1,900 vehicles. In addition to the main structure, the project featured a unique “flyover” span bridge that accommodates “through” vehicles and provides pedestrian access. The project also included bid packages for flood mitigation, parking deck security upgrades and site preparation for a future new FAA control tower.
