Gaston Construction provided pre-construction and construction management services for the renovation and 46,000-square-foot expansion of the University’s main library. The project featured the addition of two five-story buildings attached to the existing library with a reinforced concrete frame, glass/EIFS and masonry exterior walls. The North and South wing additions included a new glass entrance and façade, new heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems, new lighting and power distribution systems, and site improvements to parking, entry drives and landscaping.
