Location: Mobile, Alabama

HKW worked with the developer to create an identity and headquarters for Colonial Bank in the Mobile suburban market. Through the use of two tones of classically detailed pre-cast concrete and energy efficient multi-flooring glazing, HKW raised the bar for adjacent development while meeting the aggressive budget of the owner. The result of the effort was a design that had a classical look and feel with contemporary elements seamlessly woven in. The project also included design of a 2,000 sf freestanding drive-thru facility and interior design services for most major tenants including the developer, The Mitchell Company. This building has been credited with spurring development and growth in the area including redevelopment efforts in the nearby historic area of Mobile.
