Construction Cost: $200 million
As part of a joint venture, Gaston Construction provided program management services for the City of Atlanta’s 1994 Public Improvement Program. The overall program scope consisted of twenty-five (25) separate paving and drainage project encompassing hundreds of miles of large-diameter concrete pipe as well as major underground storm water culverts, and with bid packages ranging from $4 million to $25 million construction cost. Gaston was responsible for coordination and management of each individual bid package all the way through procurement and construction phase. Gaston also managed right-of-way acquisition, community outreach and a successful Disadvantaged Business Enterprise development program under its scope of services.
