SABER provided constructability and design review services to another engineering firm (the designers) for a major water treatment plant upgrade. SABER’s review spanned all disciplines: civil/site, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, instrumentation and control, and security improvements. Notably, SABER also prepared an independent 90% design cost estimate, which varied less than 3% from the eventual median contractor’s bid on the project. Construction cost of this project is approximately $4.0 million.
