Construction Cost: $140 million

As part of a joint venture, Gaston Construction provided construction management services for expansion of the Birmingham-Jefferson Civic Center.

In addition to renovation of the main exhibition hall, the project featured:

• Renovation of the complex’s existing hotel
• New seventeen-story hotel addition
• New six-level parking garage
• New ten-story “medical products market” (mixed-use office & retail)
